Pretty, Pretty Princess

Libby is my brother's daughter.  She turned 3 earlier this month.  Libby is adorable...quite the spit fire.  Recently, she's fallen in love with Disney Princesses.  Her favorite seems to be Snow White, so coincidentally she had a Snow White Party.

Continuing my Year of the Handmade Gift resolution, I decided to make Libster a Snow White dress.  I purchased the t-shirt from K-mart, and I added details, ruffles, ribbon, etc.

Then, I used this tutorial by Stephanie from Somewhat Simple to create a matching headband.

I love how it turned out, but I really can't wait to see Libby wear it!

  25. Very cute! When my girls (now 24 and 22) were little, I would take sweatshirts, cut off the bottom bands and add flannel skirts to them -- they made the cutest little dresses that they'd wear with leggings ...nice and warm and very pretty too!
